Our clients 2030 Net Zero Roadmap strategy involves removal of all scope 1 emissions. This included 65 owned vehicles used around the precinct from airfield to landside duties. We presented multiple transition pathways to transition the fleet to EV and assessed many electrical infrastructure options in order to meet all requirements.

Our clients requirements were to assess all potential areas of the precinct and ascertain the most suitable locations for solar considering cost, disruption and regulatory approvals from CASA. This involved looking at Carpark, Rooftop and ground mounted solutions. Working with the design team we carried out a thorough assessment and landed on a 2 phased approached which will deliver 6.5MW of solar. We are now moving forward with detailed design and installation.

Business Case required a savings of $200,000 in 12 months. Collaborating with Operational departments, analytics company and OT companies we identified 35 opportunities that could with $350,000 of savings. Of these projects we converted 20 opportunities into live projects with realised savings of $197,000 in 12 months combined across Power, Water and Gas utilities when comparing FY 18 and FY 19 data.
